HISTORY
In early 2000, digital technology was founded. More than 70 film communities were born in Jogja. Jogja-NETPAC Asian Film Festival(JAFF) started in 2006 to respons this situation. JAFF consistently reinforced and stimulated the cinema ecosystem in Yogyakarta. and emerging talents & filmmakers from Yogyakarta were born. Around 2009 filmmakers in this digital era started to make their first feature film and the number of production by studios and production houses increased. •The digital distribution system got stronger and Indonesia became one of the biggest markets in the Southeast Asia film scheme. A skilled generation with integrity is needed. JAFF became a hub for professionals and emerging filmmakers in Indonesia. From that situation JAFF Market was born.
