FILM LAB

Film Lab is a project development program dedicated to supporting emerging filmmakers in refining their creative vision and strengthening the artistic and commercial potential of their projects. As one of the signature programs of JAFF Market, it will take place in Yogyakarta from 28 to 30 November 2026.

Film Lab is open to selected filmmakers with feature-length film projects in the early stages of development. Through intensive mentorship, script and project consultations, group workshops, and one-on-one sessions with experienced filmmakers and industry experts, the program helps participants develop stronger stories, sharpen their project strategies, and prepare for future financing, co-production, and market opportunities. Film Lab serves as a foundation for projects to advance toward the next stage of development and international collaboration.
