The JAFF Content Market is a content marketplace ranging from Intellectual Property (IP) such as books, songs, video games, and even scientific works, to find the possibility of being adapted into a film. Publishers, studio groups, musicians, web content platforms, as well as all IP holders can participate in this program to connect with professionals in the film and audiovisual industry in Indonesia. The aim is to encourage numerous adaptation deals into films, strengthening and diversifying the landscape of Indonesian films. Each company or group with original IP and buyers come together to discuss the possibilities of finding the right story for new ideas for a film.
This program is designed as a starting point for aspiring filmmakers to build networks with industry professionals. Amid the rapid growth of Indonesia’s film industry, the Indonesia-France Film Lab creates more opportunities for collaboration between Indonesian and French filmmakers to meet the need for enabling talent and new projects. Taking place from December 1st to 4th, six selected projects from Indonesia will participate in an intensive, tailor-made workshop. These projects will be under the expert guidance of industry leaders with experience in co-productions between Southeast Asia, Europe, and France, providing invaluable mentorship. Experts in the European market, including producers, festival representatives, sales agents, and distributors, will also offer guidance. Each selected project will be in development, with a scriptwriter/director and producer attached. The projects are feature films aimed at both regional and global audiences. They must be the director’s first or second feature film and will focus on international co-productions with France, European countries, and Asian nations.
Film Conference which hosts many talk and discussion programs which aim to bring together experts, stakeholders and professionals to share and discuss the latest trends, opportunities, platforms and collaborations that can be explored. The focus is that stakeholders have the best and most effective space in facing challenges, opportunities and new norms in the film industry in the future. A film viewing room that presents JAFF selected films as well as previous works from new talents selected in the JAFF Market program. Screening Rooms can connect filmmakers with Buyers (film programmers, distributors, sales agents and investors). All accreditation holders can access details about the film as well as contact the filmmaker via a screen in the specially designed Screening Room. This is a very limited private space with the aim of making it a safe place for filmmakers submitting both released and unreleased films.

Room to open and expand the network of industry players and the film ecosystem. This program is casual and occurs outside JAFF Market working hours. Programs can take the form of parties, dinners, gatherings and all forms of events that increase networking between market accreditation holders.
