“So I think JAFF Market is the busiest, loudest & craziest market I’ve ever been to!”
JAFF Market is expanding its collaboration with the Adelaide Film Festival (AFF) and mylab in 2026, creating new pathways for Australian filmmakers and producers to connect with Indonesia and the wider Southeast Asian screen industry. The partnership, now entering its third year, will bring Australian projects to the JAFF Future Project (JFP) and introduce Australian producers to the new Producers Exchange at JAFF Market, which will take place in Yogyakarta from November 28 to 30, 2026.
Amid the rapid growth of an increasingly competitive Indonesian film industry, the Jogja-NETPAC Asian Film Festival (JAFF) is set to bring back JAFF Market, Indonesia’s first and largest film market, which has developed into one of the region’s key industry events.
JAFF Market 2025 Powered by Amar Bank officially wrapped today at the Jogja Expo Center (JEC), Yogyakarta, following three days of concentrated market activity, international networking, and deal-oriented conversations that underscored Indonesia’s growing influence within the screen and creative sectors.
